Founder/CEO – Shannon is passionate about enabling personal and organizational transformation and helping her clients be intentional about their career and the organizational culture they want to build. Her expertise lies in working with clients to uncover what makes them exceptional and directing their strengths and talents to lead with a sense of purpose, authenticity, openness, and trust. Shannon’s more than 16 years as a business leader at Microsoft managing teams across learning and development, product management, channel and product marketing helps her apply relevant and real world experiences in her coaching and workshops. As the Director of Learning and Development at Microsoft she partnered with leaders across the company to identify and establish new marketing and leadership capabilities for marketers worldwide. In this role her team developed the global training strategy and learning curriculum, designed and delivered leadership development programs for high potentials and new college hires, and produced competency and career models. As a coach and consultant Shannon has worked with Microsoft, LinkedIn, Apple, T-Mobile, Zillow and others and has facilitated workshops on purposeful leadership, storytelling, executive presence and leading through change.
Shannon is certified coach through the ICF, a Certified Employment Interview Professional (CEIP) and has obtained her 360Reach Analyst Certification through Reach Branding. Shannon earned her honors B.A. from Western University in London, Ontario and her coach training through Seattle Coach.
Consultant – Caroline is a strategic, multidisciplinary business professional, with an eye on the big picture. She’ll also remind you that most of us spend half our waking lives at work, which is why she spends her working time helping others make the most of theirs — through career development, organizational effectiveness, on-boarding, and training. Over the last 10 years’ she has worked with a range of companies (including Microsoft, IBM, LinkedIn and Citrix) to ensure their people strategy best fits the organization’s business strategy. Prior to this, Caroline worked in marketing and business consulting for 10 years in Australia, Latin America and the US. She has a Masters in Organizational Behavior from Northwestern University, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Organizational Behavior at RMIT, Australia. Caroline is adjunct faculty at Northwestern University, teaching a Masters-level class in organizational behavior, and has published academic papers on culture, brand and employee engagement.
Consultant – Ed is an experienced international business leader and consultant, and is founder of the strategy consulting, training and research-firm Venidici Inc. Ed’s expertise is in corporate strategic planning and alignment; implementing strategies and programs on a global scale; and helping teams navigate through change. His corporate career has spanned international leadership, organization development, marketing, sales, and strategy development roles at Mercedes-Benz, Multihouse, Interchange Communications, and Microsoft Corporation. In these roles, he has worked closely with a diverse mix of executives and teams to drive complex leadership and business improvement initiatives, most recently at LinkedIn and Microsoft. He holds a MBA and has undertaken advanced leadership and management education programs at Wharton and NorthWestern University, and is certified MBTI-practitioner.
Coaching/Consulting – Laura is known for her creative practicality and her direct but empathetic style. She has a core value of making others great and loves seeing the immediate and dramatic impact great coaching and learning can have. Her areas of expertise include executive communications, collaboration, and work-life balance. Her clients include Microsoft Corporation, LinkedIn, Russell Investments, Parametric, and leaders in the Seattle start-up community.
Laura spent 16 years at Microsoft Corporation in marketing, communications and leadership development roles. For 8 years she worked with the Microsoft high-potential program, coaching emerging marketing leaders world-wide and coaching early in career marketers and creating a community of senior women in marketing.
Laura is a certified Professional CoActive Coach (CPCC) and holds a BA in management from Luther College and an MBA from University of Minnesota with a focus in marketing. She is the author of The Life Balance Playbook, published in 2015 to critical acclaim.
